Alright so I'm using the XSI mod tool and I'm new at it. Here's my quick question: How do I change these wireframes (bottom) to solid-looking objects (top)? The top picture was taken from a tutorial that never told me how, and the bottom one is from what I'm working on (it's Comic Book Guy from the Simpsons! Duh, can't you tell? And I don't care if he's already been made, I want to do it myself. There are already feet and shoes, but you can't see them in that picture).

PS: Please feel free to correct my crappy terminology. I don't know what these things are called, I just want to use them.

in whichever viewport you want it to be shaded just click on where it says "wireframe" and change it to "shaded"
