Hey there. This might sound like a nooby question, but here it goes...

How do you re-skin the base Jaden models? When I open the textures they have the RGB channels or whatever which show up as blank space, hiding parts of the skin. I'm not sure if I'm missing something or what. Any help on this would be great.

Without actually looking at it myself I guess those are the parts whose color the player can choose. They're probably transparent in the texture.

I know that much :P but I've seen skins of Jaden models that have the textures intact.

They are formatted as a JPEG format I think, but the game treats the white as blank with the shader. Open the image and save it as a TGA or PNG and double the size of the image to get better detailing when you go over it. It would be beneficial to make another layer over the original so you are not off when you reskin it. If you're using photoshop. you have all sorts of ways to reskin. if you are unsure how to use the functions. look up tutorials on youtube since there are a bunch of them. my favorite are the "you suck at photoshop" tuts because the story makes me want to pay attention. If only mini had an interesting background like that. I might actually put more effort in using mod tool =p. If that doesn't help, then do some trial and error and do it over till you get better:kerian:

I had a similar problem. There's a png plugin for photoshop that shows the alpha channels as textures vs transparencies. Sadly I don't have the link so you'll have to do a bit of googling

I know how to skin, Hirmin. Just not the Jaden base models. :P

And I'll look into that, Kalek.
