So i use a program called Blender is that a good program for JKA modeling?

Blender is awesome...anyways I have used it to make a knife model for ja (it hasn't been released) you just need to export it to gmax. Or at least that's what I did to make it a md3.If you need any help and you use xfire: Wayfarer14.

I'd suggest using Gmax or XSI|ModTools. Those were designed specifically for modelling for games (although only XSI can get player models imported without buying anything).

As for MD3s, MD3View (supplied with the JKA MP SDK, which any modder should have) will do that for you.


I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

gmax would be the better of the 2 for weapons since there is not md3 exporter for XSI unless someone has a link to the md3 source so i can download it...
