So I found the way to turn on the "realistic Saber combat" from Jedi Oucast in Jedi Academy.

For those that don't know how, you have to change the path of your JKA icon to add the following bit on the end: " +set g_sabermorerealistic 3 +set helpusobi 1" That'll allow the realistic combat to be enabled, problem IS... I enjoy larges battle w/ sith versus jedi, however with the realistic saber cheat the friendly fire amongst Jedi is MUCH more evident, here's an example:

twenty some Sith in a line against twenty some Jedi in a line. I make the Sith ignite their light sabers; a couple are getting hit them but none die. However, I ignite the Jedi's lightsabers and the ENTIRE first row is killed straight away.

This'll happen in the middle of a fight too; trying to fight a rancor with luke and Kyle and all of a sudden: OOPS! there goes Luke's head because he just walked in front of me or Kyle.

The question I pose; does anyone know how to disable this "friendly fire" Feature? I've tried browsing, but have had zero luck. THanks!

-Hank

Try setting it to 1 or 2. I had that with Jedi Outcast too, but I actually enjoyed the piles of limbs that were left after the fight.

And maybe there's a way to do this by editing the .sab files.

Nope.

I think what we need is an SP mod, which is impossible because the SP source hasn't been released yet.

That won't stop them from dying - which is what he wanted. :P

Hahaha, thanks for trying guys, I appreciate it.

It's just a shame that we can't stop our allies from killing each other.

guess I'll have to limit my duels :P
