does anybody know a way to "render" a model WITH the shaders for it? did i explain that right? i want to look at my model, with the shaders for it, without having to load it up ingame first.. possible?

And that's the main reason I don't mess with shaders... That, and I know nothing about them...

Last I heard, ModView doesn't render shaders with the models... At least, if it does, I've never been able to figure out how.

PakRat did that I think, but it's only for mac and it's a messy beta

I thought PakRat was the PK3 files viewer for Mac.

Shaders can't be applied in ModView because it would require pretty heavy recoding of the renderer. That, and I'm not even sure exactly what sort of 'shader' iD Tech 3 uses.
