Hello out there!

I was thinking about something, what if you removed that red cloud from your hand and the neck of the target when you grip. I remember seeing this some time ago, but I cannot find it so now I heed for assistance, either:

1. Tell me how to change i (what files to change, how to change etc.) 2. Be so kind and do it for me  3. Give me a link to the (existing??) file.

Thanks for all help available, it seems like a small problem but its hard. I've tried everything from console commands to editing the file itself.

Sure. Just get EffectsEd (comes with SDK) and find the correct file. Itd be in assets1, in one of the folders under effects. Just extract the effect to your desktop, open it with effectsed, delete all the effects and save. Yay, a blank effect! Then just re-pk3 it.

It's how I remove effects. (Did a test with spawn effects) The other way (ie for the main menu banner) is to remove the ection completely, this works well if the item has a shader of some discription attached to it.
