Hi, I am wondering, what should I do to get my skin and map approved on jk3files? I just got second file rejected and i don't know why. I got readme, description, both of files are my work....Anyone knows what I am doing wrong?

Any part of the mod you didn't make yourself must be credited in the readme.

Everything is made by me, I gave credits for Cloudflint, for helping me out with dust light. TExtures are given for me by my friend, that's all...The whole work is mine and I don't think I shold give credits for images.google.com for one or two textures...

No, you shouldn't. You should endeavour to find out who made those textures and give them credit.

Failing that, add "credit to the author(s) of and " etc, to your readme, with a line mentioning how you attempted to identify them and couldn't, and apologise for not being able to credit them directly - that should suffice.

Failing that, don't use them. And if it gets that far you're just being lazy, because it's pretty impossible to fail that second option....

Saying nothing makes you take credit by default, so it's better to say something, although it's even better to get a name to credit.

Oh, FYI, you just contradicted yourself by saying that everything was made by you, then saying that half of the assets in your mod file weren't made by you. That.... probably explains the rejection.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

If things are anything as they were during my days, then files get rejected cause people can't write a proper readme.

Only if they lacked the proper information. Formatting, we didn't care about, except those tossers who thought it'd be funny to piss us off with page-stretching crap. Yeah, karma sure bit them on the ass.

You should have recieved a rejection e-mail telling you why. If not, you can e-mail or PM a jkFiles staff member and we can tell you what's up.

OK, I got the e-mail...

In that case, If I will make my own textures, then map will be approved? It will be nearly impossible to find textures' creators...

Needing new textures, are we? There are plenty of free texture sources roundabouts.

My favorite is Spiral Graphics, the makers of Genetica: Spiral Graphics - Free Tiling Texture Materials

Also, I would suggest using GIMP for image editing since it's free and better than MSPaint. GIMP - Downloads
