I respect modders. Infact, I envy them.
Last Wish;5002789lol, etiquette?... It should have been a law. -.-
i like to see it as a moral law
Mikouen;5002379Look at how your post is worded. Then you'll get it. Said post basically amounts to "it's made by modders, so you can do what you want with it". It's best to never try and give any answer regarding usage of other people's work, because no matter how you phrase it someone will always find it a convenient excuse to do whatever they want with said materials, then when called on it they'll say they were given the go ahead and point it back to you. Can guess what happens next. When it comes to showing people courtesies, you can't insinuate. Such insinuations are either completely missed or outright ignored, because by default no one cares about treating modders like people any more. Not like the old days where modding was an art form and modders respected each other as colleagues. No room for ambiguity - if you're gonna advise someone on using someone else's work, it needs to be said, otherwise people aren't going to bother. As a general rule, don't get yourself involved as a middleman. The more muddled the chain of communication becomes the more crap goes wrong, and the more crap goes wrong the more blame gets shifted to the most convenient party - the middleman. People say modding has too much freakin' drama and politics, and they're right. Honestly though, there'd be no need for any of it if people had just kept up with simple etiquette. Not like it's a difficult thing to do, is it? The Japanese don't have to deal with this crap. "western barbarians" sounds about right....
Well... This has really given me something to think about.... JKA is a great game that is really getting old and is seldom popular nowadays. I really do respect modders. They use up their precious time making a mod for public use and for the enjoyment of the people. It really does count for something. And this forum is going akwardly off-topic for one thing. We went from modding to suggesting porting material and to etiquette and to how we respect modders. It might go all the way to Jesus was here for all I know.
Jesus was a modder, hust look at what he did to the water. He made kool-aid...want some?
No thanks dude, I think enough people in my country are drinking Kool-aid right now.
I prefer water anywhom.
minilogoguy18;5001785It's not even a model, its just the gear thats attached to the games 'blank' model.
...what? My altair model is entirely my own work except for hands and face imported from the Reborn .glm with modifications to the chin and modification to the wrists.
I have come from the future.... to delete your spam.
Play nice, children.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
