Hello all of yuo out there.. i need some oen who can help me out whit a mod for jka... I don't know how to do it at my self, and i know it is a hard job to do.. but there must be some of you guys who is a good one to do stuff like that.. i like to make a MP Mod a new one what it will be can i not say right now as it will give others the idea to use it... so if anyone can do the job and like to make somthing new for jka let me know... you are welcome to email me or Pm me in here ;) E-mail [email]Stoiss3@hotmail.com[/email]

No one likes taking blind leaps. If people who actually know what they're doing with the code are going to take this up, they'll need to know what they're up against. And I do believe you won't have to worry about someone swiping your ideas, people around here are either already busy recreating someone else's ideas or bringing their own to virtual life.

yeah you got that right :) i like to make a new saber system mod :) there is a bit like OJp and Mb2 i have try to seach for some help in some time.. eve try to take a look on it at my self.. but i can't do it alone.. The Mod should be like this In any case “Combat Evolved” will introduce to you a never before-seen way to control your character. For the first time, it will be possible to move your lightsaber independently from your footwork. Therefore, we are able to go back to the roots of lightsaber combat and include classic body target zones. Combined with limited jumping and acrobatics, combat will be short-range and nail-biting.

In short, the mod is planned to contain:

  • Duel (also 2 vs. 1), deathmatch and team deathmatch game modes
  • An all-new lightsaber combat system also including manual blocking and a set of melee techniques
  • Classic Force powers together with telekinesis
  • Settings known from the Star Wars hexalogy
  • All well-known Force users from the movies

The separate footwork thing will be a bit of a problem, unless you have three hands or exceptional dexterity. It's gonna need a new set of controls, so you have to keep one hand on the saber controls, one hand on the mouse to keep facing your opponent and either switch contstantly or learn to play with your feet. Unless you figure out a way to make it easy and effective, I suggest you bury that thought before any work on it is done.

I know but one thing at the time :) first i need to have the saber system up :) and then i'll think about what could bea new opening for the mod :)

Just borrow the OJP source code and tweak away. Becuase OJP are the best they let anyone place with their source code.
