I'm not sure if anyone is working on a model of the Sith Warriors from the TOR 'Deceived' trailer. The ones with the masks and the cloaks and such. Just wondering if anyone was/could attempt that. I have a feeling the community would love whomever for it.

The main request is a lightsaber model. I designed one and would like it implemented into JKA. I myself am completely and utterly hopeless when building things for a non-RTS game. I think it's a fairly simple, elegant design... I'll post a picture of it below. I would like it to be, of course, somewhat shiny since it IS a lightsaber. If the width-to-length is off, see fit to fix it. It is indeed meant to be longer than a normal lightsaber in both hilt length AND blade length. Not TONS longer, but longer than normal. Sort of like how Malak's lightsaber was longer than the default in KoToR. And the handgrip bit is supposed to be a leather wrap type of thing. It's meant as a sort of 'War Saber'. Thanks in advance to all who help! =D WarSaberOff.png?t=1247185709

The blade emitter is that bullet-shaped bit on the right. It can be wielded either way. If you made two versions(one backhand, one normal) that would be absolutely epic win. :D And yes the hilt is indeed longer than a normal lightsaber's, as is the blade itself. But not double length or anything. Just a bit longer. :D

Actually all those shiny decorative lines are such are there on purpose. They are just to make it look sleek and shiny. The part on the VERY right is the blade emitter. The part on the left which resembles Obi Wan's lightsaber pommel is a bludgeony bit.

The basic lightsaber length is about a meter, so 1.5 meters sounds good. :D

Wait, 1.5 meters? That handle is gonna' be larger than Gorc's LIGHT CLUB from Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight.

You totally sure about that?

1.5 meter BLADE, not hilt. The hilt is only an inch or two longer than normal.

Thanks for the pics of some of the characters, Kohtarou. I especially like the Sith Lord, Darth Angral. Nice to have a name to go with the character now. Looks like that game is going to have some neat characters in it.

sorry that it took me so long to post a rende rI was working at my Starkiller animations and forgot about the lihgtsaber :lookaround:

anyway here's a render :

Spoiler: Show
warlightsaberrender.jpg

and I wanted to give you the chance to texture it yourself so here's the texture map :

Spoiler: Show
warlightsaberm.png

the color of the model parts at the render tells you which color which wire at the texture map is for

and to GlitchMasterSmith that saber hilt looks pretty cool I might give it a try :nodding:
