As it was released, I downloaded the Serenity map from Jk3files, as I tought it would be very handy in my RPG community - http://www.bjforce.com.br

Let me compliment the autor for doing such a great map. I don't know the series, but the map is fitting, well, almost perfectly to my RP, and it's very well done.

After looking (and teleporting) for a while, I found the following issue: The ship has two doorways on the second level of the hangar that lead to the outside, right on the wings. The problem - the author didn't want them to open. And that would be a QUITE important issue on my RPG. There's already a trigger at the door, that activates a click sound, but no door opening.

The other problem is at the hangar gate. It has the "transition" place (a room with two parallel doors, to avoid inner contact to the outside, I assume. Just as there is at The Academy V3's admin room door). The first gate open so you can enter it. There's even the little control to suposely open the second one, but no deal.

There are no big bugs at the outside of the ship, as I tested teleporting there, so I could see no reason at all for blocking these areas. There's also a secret tunnel that leads to two different places: the corridor before the control room, and the outside, being the second one (guess what) blocked too.

If someone could manage to open the two doors and the trapdoor of the secret tunnel (a mapper friend took a check, and told me it's pretty easy task, but his computer can't compile maps, don't ask why) I'd be very thankful. The slow-flipping gate door I'd assume as a bonus, but it would be even better if it could be done.

Oh, did I mention that the .map is included in the pk3 of the map? Right there, serenity_rp.pk3/source/serenity_rp.map. Someone told me it is quite a help on edditing.

It's not "Quite a help", its mandatory for editing that map. Besides, we need the Authors permission. Assuming he said yes, will I get a cookiee wookiee, or perhaps some RP (rep power) if I do? Because it is so, so simple to do that. I could probably do that in two keystrokes.

Spineless, the Author I have included the source .map file if it is of any use to anybody. You may copy any parts of the map as long as you credit me somewhere in the readme and ask permission first. (For email addresses see the footnote.)

Is it needed, even for personal use only?

Anyway, e-mail sent.

Oh Fulcrum, could you improve that crappy skinning of my hilt model? I'm kinda curious :D

Not for personal use no. But you said you were using it on an RP placr, so thats Public use. Also, I'm aware there may not be anything on the other side of the door, so that can be a bit iffy.

As for your saber, you need to UV map the Yellow part seperately, so I can make it shimmer

No, thats not what I meant. I mean you need to UV Map the yellow part into a seperate JPG.

They don't tolerate posting within another few seconds of another post. Either way, I really never go on MSN. I can't really he,lp you as for modelling. I have no idea to anything in that field, it is one of my weaknesses
