Hey guys, ive been a lurker here for quite sometime. I am trying to start up a styleized 3d Web Comic, and im hoping that you guys can help me out. Im looking for a pair (one male, one female) of unclothed models that are humanoid and could serve as a template mesh (im great at kitbashing - i suck at modeling.) Ive been looking through Jk3 files, but they arent generic enough. Once i have them i am perfectly capable of making clothing for them. Again, i am looking for game quality (it needs to have a mouth, and seperate eyeballs) models that i can use as a kind of basis that i can further modify into the characters that i need. Thanks a bunch guys.

Just a pair of bald clothless generic humans. They dont need to look like anyone in particular - hell they dont even need to be seperated into bodyparts - a solid mesh for each one would be fine.

Not really. I think that would kind of screw things up for the game. You don't really know the finer points of modelling, do you? I would suggest you go to JK3Files or PCGameMods and look through the model files a bit harder to see if you can find a model that will fit. Most modellers will only model things they like, and to ask for something completely generic is not only rare but improbable, especially since you're asking them to do something without any images. You're especially not likely to get these since you don't even want them for JKA. Asking for someone to make you a model for JKA that you don't even intend to use for the game is rather... unorthodox.

I figured it was no harm to ask -=shrug=- someone might have felt kind, i dunno.

Actually, for JK3, your right i dont know, but i understand how Character Studio works, and a solid mesh is what is needed. Again, no harm in asking, improbable as the result might be.

That's true, there's no harm in asking. The reasons JKA needs a segmented mesh are for dismemberment, movement, etc. Of course if you have no intentions of using it in-game that wouldn't be much of a problem.

heh, i didnt know that dismemberment required seperate meshes. Character Studio uses Vertex assignments, so seperate body parts arent needed for CS. Anyways, despite the fact that i dont have any images, or that it wont be used for JA, im still hoping someone might still come forward, but i wont lose any sleep if someone didnt. Thanks for the speedy responses, Forge, I appreciate it.

Well I try to be helpful without totally shooting people down ;) I was never quite able to figure out the important parts of modelling myself. Weighting/rigging was the end of me... I was far too impatient ;)
