okay, here we go. I now know how to do it, and it was much easier than I thought it would be.. * first, make your *.Roq -file. * then, make a shader, so you got a scripted texture that plays the movie. It should be something like this: textures/jp_textures/b1 { { videomap jp.roq blendFunc add rgbGen identity } } where 'videomap jp.roq' is - put your roq-filename. and change the 'textures/jp_textures/b1' to any place you want the shader to be located. * Make a brush in gtkradiant. Texture all sides with 'system/skip' except from the side where the movie should be. Texture the 'Movieside' with your movieshader. In sjc's case its placed in 'textures/jp_textures/b1'. Now the movie should work.. Now to the sound from the movie! * Make a brush, texture it with 'system/trigger' and make it a 'trigger_multiple'. when the player walks into this trigger, the sound for the movie will start. Place it anywhere you want. * deselect everything, and select only the trigger. Press 'N' and write as key: target and as value (you can have any value as you want, but use this one now) cinemaspeaker and add a new key: wait and the value: 360 * Now make a target_speaker in front of the movie. Press 'N' and write this as key: targetname and as value: cinemaspeaker also add this key: noise with the value of where the mp3-sound is located for the movie. It seems like the roq-format cant have sound in it. so you have to separate them. however, the value (in sjc┬┤s case): sound/jpsounds/show.mp3 now everything should work! if not, just ask me, and ill try to explain everything better! Hope it helps! :D

wow that was really confusing :) , if you can't understand that here is and easier way. I'm assuming you already have the .roq file made. You have to made a shader like he said but mine was different that his. The shader for my .roq looked like this textures/video/cool { qer_editorimage textures/system/_videoTall q3map_nolightmap { videoMap video/cool blendFunc GL_ONE GL_ONE } } Yes I named my .roq cool. The first line is where the texture that will play the .roq is. The second line is how big it is. if you .roq has dimensions of 256 x 512 you will need to put _videoTall. If the dimensions are 512 x 512 then you need to put _video512. The third line is....I don't know just keep it that way  The fourth line is where you .roq is. NOTE: Your .roq must be in a folder called Video. So if you .roq is called popcorn and its in the Video folder you would put videoMap video/popcorn The fith line is something I don't know again so just leave it like that. NOTE: You can use any texture to play the .roq. For mine I just use floor tiles. This is how I made mine. NOTE: I have JK2 so if your making it for JK3 you might want to follow the other guys shader file. Hope that helps. Oh ya .roq can take up a lot of space. A 2 second .roq takes up about 1mb, so keep that in mind :)

You can only have sound in an .roq if its in the loga part when you start the game. If you want sound in the game you can make a target speaker and connect it to a trigger to activate a .mp3 for the .roq. I'm not sure about all that, but I think its right.
