Since the SSBB thread is pretty much dead for now, I'm working on a new project. I am going to try to create the sabers from the Youtube videos Ryan vs Dorkman 2 and Ryan vs Brandon 2. If you haven't seen them yet:
RvB2 is still in development, but it's still awesome.
I'm working on Ryan's RvD2 saber right now; here's a pic.

When I first saw the name of this thread, i thought you were trying to be funny, making sabers of two of R2D2's cousins or something. :lol:

No, R2 has no cousins...but yeah, I can see why you would think that.
