I'm trying to make a saber file that has lightning effects when it hits the floor walls or enemies and duz knockback and stuff, but i want to make it so it uses up force when u attack with it, is there a way to do this without changing the ammo for the saber in weapons.dat?

Nope. That would require coding.

actually that would work by setting a few things in the .sab file but it wont cost force points

Basically, what you're asking for is a coding mod. You may or may not need a client plugin, but you definitely won't be able to run it along side mods like Japlus or Lugormod.

the effect is no problem but that it uses force points as ammo....... no thats impossible without the full source code

Well, actually, I think in weapons.dat u can set the ammo type for saber to ammo_force, but that would sset every saber to using force.
