I've been in the process of making a saber blade modification. (No, I am not going to spam the file-inbox with a nother worthless mod, I know you guys don't want to review the same thing again;).) Anyway, I have been looking, and trying to find a way to modify the glow. If you have EVER played JK3 you will know how the glow starts at the base bigger at the emitter than at the top of the blade. What I am trying to do is make the entire thing glow the same... width, if that makes sense. All I need to know, I think, is: what file(s) do I want to edit, and which assets file is it in? I think I can get it from there. Oh, and if this has been done, and I am just being stupid, and can't see the easier way to accomplish this, please tell me. Thanks, Forloc

I had this exact same problem a few weeks ago. If you search the threads, I think I called it "need help with sabers" or something like that. I made a nice black saber and a nice white one, but the glows are yellow and orange. As far as I know, there's no way to change this. And if there is, nobody here ever told me how, so all I can say is good luck.
Your problem is slightly different than mine, but still in the same area. These glows are very hard to edit. The only file that might help you is sabers.shader in assets1.pk3.
EDIT: You could try changing the file (color)_line in the folder gfx/effects/sabers. Make the actual line thicker at the top, and then the glow would follow with it.
