I started working on Orthos from StarCraft II today. Im a complete noob when it comes to making models as this is my first model ever.

Ill be posting screenshots tomorrow, as Im tired and going to bed. Basically all ive got done is the front of his right forearm lol.

Working on a model that the JA skeleton can't handle very well isn't exactly my idea of a first project, but whatever suits you.

Lol, yea I learned that, so im working on some other things just for practice, and with the Orthos Model, had to start over cause I screwed up majorly lol

You may just want to model one arm, then mirror it so the two are identical. Other than that, it's a good start.

you also want to build one half the model and mirror it too......basic stuff you could have asked me to tell you when I was talking to you last night... it makes everything easier. Delete half the model right now, and keep on building it, even though youre using an inefficient method, it should come out about the same as the effiecient method, so its all good. then when youve done it like you like it, hit mirror, and merge the two toghether. remember, when counting your polys, you need to double the tri count to know how much the final will be total.

I need help with the legs lol. They are a good struggle for me and I can seem to do them correctly. If your willing to help PM and Ill send you the files you need.

I guess Ill just ahve to keep trying on the legs. Unless someone does PM me or give me some help or anything. Anyways, how many poly's can it have b4 it cant be used for jka?
