lol theres, in max, and I believe in Gmax, a tool in the hammer icon on the sidebar, a polygon counter. And I PMed you, Zero, you didnt get it or something?

In 3dsm/GMax there is a hammer in the top right, or around there. Click it, then click Polygon counter.

well, it shouldnt, but there are some situations where it could accidently get that many.

I'm not exactly sure if I'm correct here, but the pelvis and the head use the most amount of polies.

It's 100% dependent on the model you're making.
