I have a problem when I try to load my script in game. I'm trying to make a camera, but it only displays the camera script in the top half of the screen.
The top half is the camera, but the bottom half isn't.
Here is the stripped-down script: //Generated by BehavEd
camera ( /*@CAMERA_COMMANDS*/ ENABLE ); print ( "text!" ); wait ( 8000.000 ); camera ( /*@CAMERA_COMMANDS*/ DISABLE );

You don't have any camera defined there.
These are commands I took from one of my scripts:
camera ( /*@CAMERA_COMMANDS*/ ENABLE ); camera ( /*@CAMERA_COMMANDS*/ MOVE, $tag( "ccam1", ORIGIN)$, 0 ); camera ( /*@CAMERA_COMMANDS*/ PAN, $tag( "ccam1", ANGLES)$, < 0.000 0.000 0.000 >, 0 );
camera ( /*@CAMERA_COMMANDS*/ DISABLE );
Usually you also place suitable fade in and outs there, to make the transitions from player control to cinematic and back smoother and less abrupt. But you must define the first camera right away after turning on the camera mode. If you don't define any camera, there's no meaning at all to turn on the cinematic mode.
And although it has nothing to do with that, but the print command won't work, for two reasons: You must have an exclamation mark before the text for anything to be printed at all (like print ("!text!") in your case), and on the other hand you can't print anything but the automatic subtitles during camera mode on. I asked about this latter thing directly from Raven, and they told me text printing during cinematics had been disabled in the code for who knows what reasons.
Thank you so much. I feel really stupid right now.
Aigh, I have another problem. How do I get it use the 'print' keyword?
