is it possible to make a see saw like object in jka? just curious for since i could use it in one of my maps, eg a player stands on one side of the panel it lists down on the side the player is standing

You can either with coding (depending on how advanced you want it) or with trigger_multiples (Set a trigger multiple at the top of the see-saw so when it reaches it's top point it'll trigger again and thus go down), or that's how I would do it.

sounds easy enough, the multiple triggering, coding is a bit out of my area of knowlage

Scripts can do that really nicely, actually. And pretty realistically...you just need to use a few tricks.

I'd imagine it would be something like the rotating door script. I know nothing of scripts though, so I can't be sure.

If you want a very accurate seesaw, yes. It'll be a little complicated, though, and if you haven't scripted anything before, you may want to just ask for help instead.

im trying to make a replica map with all the features intact, its a nice learning exercise, since i ironicly just learned how to use the func_train entity, easy as it was.
