I made a flag in JKa and I finally got it to wave like it is in the wind. but for some reason there is gaps on the cornors sides of it. is there a way to fix this problem? is there a way completely remove the line or.

here is my shader.

textures/medieval/empflag { qer_editorimage textures/medieval/empflag surfaceparm nomarks deformvertexes wave 100 sin 1 2 2 0.6 { map $lightmap blendFunc GL_DST_COLOR GL_ZERO } { map textures/medieval/empflag blendFunc GL_DST_COLOR GL_ZERO tcMod turb 0.01 0.03 5 0.1 tcMod stretch noise 1 0.01 1 1 } } p.s. I am using this for a mod so please do not take it and use it for your map.

Thanks ALOT to any repliers.

Make your brush as flat as possible (one grid unit on the .25 setting i think it is)

You could try to make it cull twosided, and texturing only one side in Radiant (or using a patch mesh). That way it wouldn't have thickness at all. Like zero thickness, yet it would be visible identically from both directions due to the cull twosided shader. I can't guarantee this method, but it's worth a shot. (Use nodraw for other surfaces of the brush.)

how about making it a patch? then it's like 0,000mm thick. it's simply front and back.
