Heh me again.

I was wondering if anyone could provide me with a shader.

What I want it to do is simple but for the life of me I dont know how...

What I want is something semi transparent that does not light itself but is lit by the maps lighting. I don't want it to appear like glass, you know it looks imposed like it has its own lighting.

Also it would be nice if some light could pass through it

Thanks again!

Awkward? You bet!

ok this is simple, but I havent tried it, so I dont know how well itll work, but if you know how to make a glass shader, then in the line, the first one, it looks like this: textures/env/glass { ....blahblahblah do it like this: textures/env/glass:q3map { ...blahblahblah this leaves the shader to be lit and such by q3map2 compile processes. I think this will work for what you described. EDIT Ill write out a sample glass shader for this textures/xxx/xxx:q3map { qer_editorimage textures/xxx/xxx surfaceparm trans { map textures/xxx/xxx tcGen environment blendFunc GL_ONE GL_DST_COLOR } } Hope that helps ^::^
