when i try to fix Cloud's hair after modding him (AKA: Acerit or sumtin), it doesnt work. this is what i do: *rename the name of the .shader file to my name that i want *rename the two directories in it (models/players/cloud_ac/hair) to models/players/blahblah/hair so, a little help would be awesome, thnx :D

Oh if you just said before you had the shader... Indeed just rename all the places with the right filenames to get it to work should help

models/players/Zack_groom/hair.tga{ q3map_material Flesh cull twosided { map models/players/Zack_groom/hair.tga alphaFunc GE128 depthWrite rgbGen lightingDiffuse }}that's what i changed it too....it used to be jecht, the "Alexander" reskin on pcgamemods

so whait are u trying to make a zack with the cloud model and messed up the hair?

make shure u didnt mess up the alpha channles when u did that could cause the hair shader to not work

no he's trying to reskin a skin that my friend uses in our RP community. He's trying to reskin it into a more formal skin.

no, someone uses this model as Zack in an RP, even though its just a reskin (he's waiting for Jachelah). there's a "wedding" in the RP, so im making a custom skin which looks like a "tux" (ya, u got it right =D)

simply, the hair needs to be hair-like, that's when shaders come in. no shaders=big, colored ractangles for hair

ok if all u did was change the exec path for the shader so its now models/players/zack/hair and then the rest of the hair shader is un tuched u probly messed up the alpha channle for the hair and thus youl half to start the hair from the original again
