Hi guys

I know how to skin but im confused on the shaders, because when i open up the assest1.pk3 there is a folder called shaders, but what are they and how do i add them to my skin?

There aren't many great shader tutorials out there to be honest, I hardly know much about them myself however I do know it's all about trial and error.

Radiant installs them to your base/shaders folder when it is installed, so you should simply add any new shaders into there. Don't bother editing the existing ones directly because you will fudge up loads of stuff - if you want to edit an existing one, copy/paste it into a new cusom shader file and change the shader name (first line of the shader)
