Thanks Jose. Its stuff like that that gives you props in my readme's ;) I down myself because it keeps me humble and steals the thunder from the guys who are like "dude, learn to model." It makes comments like that far more palatable. :) And I am proud of what I've done, even if they are just edits. I really enjoy the idea of making something no one else has seen or done before. When I look back, I think to myself "anyone could have done this...surely I'm not the only guy..." But when I am, it makes it that much more enjoyable to know that someone out there wanted something like this and it totally made their day. The forum Anakin pointed me out to is case in point. They were all psyched about this model, even when the steam died here. I eventually want to make the rest of Vincent from scratch, and I already have some parts I'm going to use for him. Who knows, maybe I'll make something completely unique one of these days and suprise the heck out of myself. :D Looking forward to your finished product on your model there, as he's visually appealing and I'd like to see where you go from there.
Bah, he looks like crap. The only things I like are the overall design and the armor. But that's not the point of this thread.
Good to hear you're trying to rebuild Vince. The first one looks great, but I believe there's always room for improvement. And believe me, you will go on to make something unique. When you let your imagination off of its chains, you'll find that the things it comes up with are like nothing else. I look forward to that day.
