Ok, so I've started playing JK3 single player again, and i realized how unrealistic it can be, after it took me 9 blaster shots to kill someone on low dificulty!! So, does anyone know of a One-Hit-Kill mod for single player that works for the saber as well as all the weapons? Could anyone make one? Or show me how to? Maybe w/ extreme saber model dismemberment like you can do in JK2 as well? I really want to have lots of fun playing it again, so can anyone help me? Thanks!

that would be lame cause it would make the game so ridiculously easy.

you could change every npcs health to something really low, but you would still be able to take multiple blaster shots and saber slashes, or you could increase all the lightsabers's attack power, but then weapons wouldn't kill in one hit.

it would make the game to easy, unless the mod affects both you and enemy npcs

You could try g_saberrealisticcombat 3-20, but with more than 10 you don't need to hit to kill. It's enough to touch them.

Thanks for all the replies so far! Yeah, IFailedEnglish, thats pretty much exactly what i'd want to do (or have the mod do); Lower the enemies' health not to 1, but low enough so that depending where you hit with guns, they'd die in one to three hits. The only thing is, I don't know how to make a mod like that. So, could anyone guide me as to how to make it? what programs to use, etc.? Or could someone do it for me? :D

So far, saberrealisticcombat tends to strictly affect saber combat only, not including blaster-play.

Mods like this have appeared in MP because Raven released JAMP's source code. This is not true for SP; the source code was never released. The weapon damages seem to be set in the game code itself.

You will need Pakscape, the NPC tool and Winzip. Pakscape to open the assets1 folder, the NPC tool to change settings in the .npc files (there are alot of them if you want to change them for all enemies!) and Winzip to put all in a PK3 folder again.

Tutorials can be found on this Forum ( see the Mainpage, 2.nd thread, ) and on jk2files.

But lowering the health of the enemies would make the Game very easy.

It would be far more interresting to increase the health, and all the other aim, evasion, intelligence a.s.o. and use a good Dismember_mod.

A true SPchallenge for the Jedi;)
