I thought I'd put this here because modders would know more about this than anything, and it's not exactly a JK3 problem...

Anyway I tried using the Emperor Palpatine skin (http://jediknight2.filefront.com/files/search/?search_category=all&fields_name=1&fields_filename=1&keyword=palpatine&game=38#results) thingers and I don't know how to use them in Single Player? It works fine in Multiplayer though...

Is it just that the skin isn't made for SP? :(

it is that the skin is designed for MP not SP... howevere if you want to use you can type playermodel *model name* in sp

Pretty much, yeah. You need to add specialised support to get them to appear in singleplayer.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

I tried loads of combinations using the playermodel bit, but how would I find the name of the model? Is it the filename.pk3?

Thanks for your help btw :) Wish there was a SP Emperor though :(

Downloading pakscape :)

Thanks for the help...that's probably all that can be done until someone codes an emperor skin for SP. Can't wait for KOTF :P

Cheers.

The skin has no NPC file, so you can not use the playermodel command to use it in single-player. You can not use this in single-player at all currently, unless you modify it yourself.

You could already read the master sticky and find out how to put it in SP :nodding:.

That explains a similar problem i had, then again npc file isn't to hard to whip up.

Or, like Inyri said, you can look in the Master Sticky to find the tutorial for adding SP customization, which is a lot better than messing with NPC files and /playermodel.
