Skin won't turn into .pk3 -1 reply

So I was finished makeing my first skin and I renamed the .zip into a .pk3. But it just stayed the same even though it had the .pk3 Can any1 tell me how to make it into a real .pk3?

What do you mean by it just stayed the same,...

There wouldn't be any visible changes that I'm aware of, and it would still work like a zip file, the only real difference is that the game can read it with that extension.

Have you tried using it yet?

:confused: As far as I am aware this is how you make a "real" PK3. It works ok for me and everyone else. BTW, Hapslash, I love your work and have been checking your site often, but can you give us some news on when and indeed if your IG88 model will be finished ?. :bows:

Uhhhhh... I always use Pakscape for PK3s. You put all your files in there, then use WINZIP to put the .pk3 IN the zip (with your readme).

Yes I test it. The zip pic thing is still there and not the other pic like real .pk3 are in. If this doesn't work then I will just use packscape.

Use pakscape anyway!!! It's hella easy and effective.
