ok I need to know what is wrong with this shader:

textures/Castlevania_sky/Castlevania_n_dn { qer_editorimage textures/skies/sky surfaceparm sky surfaceparm noimpact surfaceparm nomarks surfaceparm nolightmap q3map_sunExt 0.884676 0.905047 1.000000 150 45 60 0.5 ~8 q3map_skylight 50 3 q3map_nofog skyParms textures/Castlevania_sky/Castlevania_n 1024 - }

I mean they do show up in radiant but when i go ingame there is no sky box. It simply displays the sky image.

Did you add it to shaderlist before you compiled?

I added it to the shader list but it won't show the sky image in radiant. I already went to richdiesal's but that tutorial was a bit too global for me. I still can't get it to work. Here's alist of what i have:

6 images for front,back,left,right,up and down. the sky.shader file. I added the sky.shader to the shader list. and it is also in a pk3. so what have i done wrong?

ok i fixed the shader and the list. but when I compile it shows the sky as a hom.

You could also take the tilde away from your sunext, unless you already have. It's used commonly to indicate "about" some number. It's not meant to be included in the command line.

Do you have the sky textures also in the pk3, not just the shaderfile?

i have the shaderlist,shader and textures all in the pk3. so it should work.
