Inyri Forge;5573144 I just want to get people participating.

Last time I tried doing something like that, I got a whole two people to join in. Of course, I didn't use the word 'contest' so I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

I've already got an idea or two, so if no official theme is chosen, I'm in. I'll have to get my hands on the right software again, and anything I make will not be that high quality because I'm quite rusty and wasn't that great to begin with, but I'll chip in.

Hi,

just for participating, I would create something ;) My skins are not the best, but I can model whatever you need :D

I would, but unfortunately i cant right now =/.

How about a team collab?, 1 modeler with 1 pixel guy...for those that don't feel as comfortable doing both.

I'd have to have someone else UV Map my stuff, I simply don't have the right tools for it, and I certainly can't texture anything :p

Uv's are easy, it's pretty essential for someone who models to know how to do it properly, most people who only do textures don't know enough about 3d software to do it for you.

Part of the point of this is to increase your knowledge and skill. If you don't know how to do something, take this opportunity to learn rather than to have someone else do it for you. Like texturing, for instance -- I used to hate it, before I took the time to learn, but now it's my favorite part of modeling. :)

I'd love to take part in this to learn how to model, myself. However, I don't even have the time to map at all, so I guess I'm out.

Being able to finish fast is not an issue (I'm considering the idea of not even having a deadline, given that so many of us are 'busy') so if you want to participate and just be slow, please do.

I guess I could possibly be tempted to give it a shot.

Pun most definitely intended.

I'm all for this. I'll see if Nozy can post something on JK3files for it too.

Let me know the details/guidelines and I'll make a sticky.
