Print screen is a button your keyboard.

It would be nice if you let us in on what software you're using so we can help you more.

*whistle*

I'd have to check up on how to do it in gmax, but you're better off waiting for someone else to come tell you exactly. There should be some kind of unweld option, though, or detach face in the UV editor.

I used gmax for a while but now I use XSI Mod Tool (it's better :p). Anyway there's a glitch in gmax for seperating pixels. First you highlight them, and you hit the "break selected pixels" button a few times. Most of the time it works on the first one, but I've had problems with it. Then after you hit the button, you deselect the pixels. Then you select them again and they'll be broken.

Your clipboard. You need to paste it somewhere and crop it. Or, alternatively, I believe texporter may work with gmax. You'd have to check that one, though.
