Here's something on what I've been working on for the past two days. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

finished.jpg

Don't mind how the cape bottom isn't visible, it's how ModView renders transparency, sadly. (Transparency on skirt is blocking view of the inner part of the cape). The mask leftover isn't skinned on by the way, it's actually model part ;) And no, this isn't any remodel, it's reskined Toshi's Vader. I used alpha layer on mask, cutting out most of it to get this effect, while still having head mesh enabled.

That's pretty cool you could do that with transparency. Nice job =]

You're calling Toshi's textures bad? Honestly there's something wrong with you then, since in my eyes they are of great quality and I don't see any need to edit them.

Not to mention that Toshi's Vader has env shader on the armor by default, so I don't see how you could add something that was already there, same goes for blinking lights, they are there by default.

And the mask is actually correct, this was my reference: bd%20vader.jpg

Obviously the leg couldn't be done because of model limitations, so I went with a little improvisation.

Toshies models are photosourced with some photoshop throw in.

I don't see how any could think he made those from scratch. :Puzzled:

AngelMapper1987;4969906 And secoundly thats a toy, and trust me its quiet a bit off of from the tfu version. and another thing before u jump down my throat about giving u advice, take a look at his shaders... before u comment rudely when some one tries to help, his shaders as far as the hard armor are a little off and the jump suite has NO ENV. so do research before u offend people trying to help you. Ive got far more experiance at this and quiet a few more year's under my belt.

1. It's not far off at all, I have both PS2 and PS3 versions of TFU, and this particular variant I made doesn't even show up in PS3/X360 version. It's actually mid-battle look from PS2/Wii version. (Since by the end of the battle he has no cape, no helmet, and is half-naked).

2. Jumpsuit isn't supposed to have any env, it's leather based (That's where speculars come in). ModView obviously doesn't show shaders so I fail to understand how can you judge something I haven't shown. (I made my own shaders).

3. I've been in this since 2005 and I don't like your "I'm a god, listen to me or die" attitude, if you want to be Gir, then leave.

PS. I doubt anyone would be able to see anything from your screenshot, you should learn to use 4th person camera for taking good front pics, not to mention using a better lighted map.
