Al'right, right now, I'm trying to create a couple of different sounds for various products, & I'll like some advice on 'em...I'm using Audacity BTW First, what would be the best way to make a laser/blade sound for a large weapon? I've searched around for some good ones, but to no avail. I'm trying to create sounds similar to the ones used on the POS series games (Phantasy Star Online) Second, for voice editing, what would be a good technique to make the original voice sounds similar to those going through a Comlink or similar to the Ubese voice on 'Return of the Jedi'?

You'll have to mess around with different stuff for the blade sound. Just take different things and swing it by a mic, then play with the sound until you get something you like. Theres a ring modulator filter online for Audacity, which is perfect for making it sound like its over a radio. Again, you just have to mess with the settings.
