Thank you Forceboat. You are wise. BTW, what is your favorite SP map/mod to date?

Well, I love a lot of them, but my current favorite is Movie Duels 2, it's huge in file size but well worth it to play the key scenes from the prequels; plus it has some extra non prequel trilogy missions in there as well. I also like Enter The Dark Lord and the Dark Forces mod is good too.

I still need to look through the SP mods but have you ever seen anything where you can control Luke Skywalker for an entire map or mission or mod? And I should add I'm looking for an original fan made story/map, not just a reskinner.

My favorite one has to be the Dark Forces Mod. It's just plain spectacular in every way imaginable. Such attention to detail in the levels!

They also used a damn fine model of The Moldy Crow for their 1st and 2nd release. 3rd release's model? Yuck. But, yeah.

Love the reworked Bryar and E-11, and the gameplay is also fun. It's good to not have Force Powers for once, which made the battle with the Phase 1 Dark Trooper all the more challenging.

And, yes. The big, bad robot coming at me with a big ass sword DID kinda' scare me.

Forceboat;5298637Nina Mod 1.5 Mod Download, Jedi Knight 3 Mods :)

As my hunt continues (and is quickly hitting a brick wall) for the ultimate collection of SP maps, I've come across the Nina series. As far as I can tell, there are 5 total chapters in the series and they are all a lot of fun to play. But I have ran into a problem.... The first two, Nina 1.5 and Undiscovered Secret have no voice acting and according to the review, only contain text subtitles with the cinematics. The next two, Nova Unit and Genesis HAVE voice acting so its all good. Then the last one, Privateer we are back to no voice acting and apparently text subtitles. My problem is I can't figure out how to get these subtitles to work. I have gone into the Setup, Options, Subtitles: and there are two options. During Cinematics and Off. I always put it on the former and yet still getting nothing but the characters just shaking back and forth and black bars on top and bottom. I know there are subtitles because they show up in the screenies on the review. What am I doing wrong here!?!?? I'm calling on the JKII/III experts to help a brotha out.

The most likely thing is conflict with another mod. Make sure you are only putting one in your base folder at a time. Better yet to make folders in the 'gamedata' folder and drop the mods in there. You can then either load them up from setup/mods or from a .bat file if there was one included.

A specific language setting could also be a requirement for subtitles to work (usually it's English). The readme should state that.

It's also good to remember that due to a bug in JA SP that Raven never bothered to fix, custom string files in SP won't work unless a mod is loaded via a batch (.bat) file. So, a mod loaded using the Load Mod menu command will leave you without custom strings, subtitles included most likely.
