Is it possible, to play single player in multiplayer, like co-operative serious sam or quake 2? i know u wouldnt b able to get the between missions screen, and all that, but is there a way 2 load them into the MP game, with a command line? and turn say, friendly fire off, turn even teams off, turn light/dark teams off, and have everyone on one team? and play them as if they were co-operative? one after the other? loading up each map as you complete the one infront of it, damn that would rock.
any takers on how exactly to go about it?:)

I am talking out my rectum here, but I would assume alot of elements would be possible due to MP source code being released. You would definately need to know coding to make much use of it, but in theory it would be possible. Infact, I do beleive there are some mods which have co-op in them. Basics: A.you would probably have to do it yourself. B.it requires coding knowledge whatever that may be. C. good luck!-Peace!
hmm, i was hoping mayb for an easier way, like putting the maps from singleplayer into a pk3 with there sounds and tidbits and just commandline "currentlevel" or "map" or whatever it is in JA to the level names, an bobs your uncle. is that completely over simplistic thinking?

I am also talking out of my rectal orifice, but as far as I know, yes, it is over simplistic thinking. Since there are many map functions and entities which only work in SP and not MP, most of which are required for progression through the missions, I'd say it would be impossible to make the JKA SP levels fully functional in MP.

most sp functions can be replicated in mp throguh work-arounds, but that would involve editing all the .map files. and camera/cutscenes dont work in mp :P

You can just use the /devmap command to load singleplayer maps in multiplayer, but as said above, a lot of the stuff won't work. You can usually get through the level all the same though, killing NPCs along the way. You just sometimes need to find alternate routes and use the /amtele command if you get stuck enough. Not really worth it, although personally I do like taspir1 as an FFA map once the NPCs are dealt with.
I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.
hmmm, i do also notice when i do that, that the weapons the enemies hold seem to be much stronger then when i play SP, an my saber on yellow takes mayb 3 solid hits to kill one of those guys, let alone the fact that the bowcaster carrying enemies seem to do like 50 damage each :P

You can correct that if you're using JA+ by enabling Single-Player Damages. There isn't really anything you can do about them doing more damage, except if you're feeling exceptionally malicious (like me) you can load the map using the /devmapall command.
ex: /devmapall vjun1 <- My personal favorite for FFA/RP once the annoying NPC's have been cleared. Or use 'em to make things more interesting. ;) The only problem I have with SP maps in MP is the NPC behavior. The weaker ones (stormies, imp workers/officers etc.) just run away. The damage isn't really a problem, seeing as how I run an RP server and we almost always have godmode on.
nohmanara, RP sever? in Jedi, how does this work, im a major RP fan, we are talking about Role Play right? and not in the sick perverted way that most people hearing those two words put togeather might think, but actual RP?

man this has already been done, its kinda buggy but its been done, where have you guys been all this time??? its a open source mod that was the base for most mods out there and i know for sure that FM3 was made using this. its called the open jedi project or OJP, just google it or somethin cause i cant remember the website.
