some of U might remember my failed attempt at a SP map, with that crappy map :p well, I am back at it ^_^

story so far:

a Jedi (undesided, prolly Jaden) has been sent to investigate an old mine on the planet (undesided again) where he/she must find a crystal apearantly found there decades ago, that can cloud the force. after searching the base a bit, U find not only strange mine creatures (mine_monster, that will jump out sudenly and surprise the player) but also finds the remanent.

many areas in the map may be real dark, as to make it all the more scary for when the mine_monsters jump out tongue.gif

and it will prolly be funner with guns, specialy the E 11 and bryar pistal spdark_map2.JPG

Cool, just how are you going to get the Bryar to work??

PS: If you need help, I'll be happy to help in this mod. I am not the best mapper, but if you need help, just ask :P

I'd love to kill stormies and those imperial workers in brown and huge helmets :giggle:

For the bryar, he'll probably change DL model and skin to Bryar's...

P.S. Could you disable saber, or at leas lower the saber skills?

lol, or Blaster pistal... that one U start out with in all JA SP maps :p, its exactly the same as the bryar, just diferent grafics, so it wouldn't matter which I use... but they arn't explosive or nething... or to powerfull, I like how straight they shot, making the two guns my fovorite :) nope, no more screens, thats all I have for the moment, but some may come soon ;) and I will do all the mapping myself, its coding I will have trouble on :p

A good story and mission objectives(tasks) really makes a difference in sp maps. Put a lot of focus in those areas and your project will already be better than most.

One difference: Bryar reload rate is faster - check it out after 'give all'

NKenobi, make some locked doors, and after ompleting some objective, you will have to return back, coz one of the locked door will unlock. And there will be bunhes of stormies behind another doors :) Y'know, I don't like maps where player is forced to run forward and swing his saber... I liked artus mine level coz there was no saber and player had to reverse his movement to proceed.

I hate hard to solve puzzles, they confuse me. Especially in the artus levels. I like good and long action. Also I never just randomly swing my saber, I like messing with the stormies or sith. If there is only one left, I always do grip, saber throw and stuff to make the battle longer and more Star Wars like :P I also do yellow DFA (jumping slash thingie) on the guys or backslash or cartwheels or whatever to make it look kewl :P

Make sure you post the link for it when you finish. There isn't enough good Sp maps out there. When do you think you will relese it?
