Okay,

I have this mod i'm working on, and thought to see what would happen if it were loaded as an MP mod. (and thus to provide compatibility if necessary). However, suddenly (using the Twi'lek Female as example) certain icons and skins are no longer functional in the Multiplayer Custom Player Profile menu. Quite strange. The same shaders and images are used in SP, and the Alpha channel coloring of the character as well as the icon to match the skin works great. (thus for the TF you can changer her skin color).

In the MP engine, all the skins are completely invisible, and the icons are twisted. (you can see the skin not the clothing/armor -or- icon isn't even visible).

Does anyone know what the difference is that would cause such a glitch? I mean, in SP it works like it should, however in MP is the only time it doesn't work. *shrug*

Since you seem to know how to use shaders, would you please give me a tutorial or teach me how to use shaders? Thanks in advance

What did you change in your mod?

Nothing. If you look at my most recent post Skins & Shaders it explains exactly what I did, and might give some insight as to why it isn't working. The fundamental aspect of the problem is that what works in Single Player, does not work in multiplayer. (this has nothing to do with gameplay, just the skin and shader of the skin).

By logic, it should make no difference whether mp or sp. Perhaps there is something in your ja folder messing w/your skins. Try removing some mods to see if it is fixed.

Thank you. See that's what I thought, that it should make no difference, but being a coder and not an image editor I assumed it was the image itself. It was a shader conflict from one of my other model packages. Thanks for the help.
