Hi people,

Since my first attempt to make stance mod wasn't a succes at all (when was first attempt ever a succes?), I decided to scrap all my negative feelings toward Averus and instead I'll make some more and work on it, sooo...

If anyone could give some 'cool' looking ideas for stances, I'd appreciate it, since I can't really come up with any 'cool-for-people' looking stances.

When I run out of ideas for stances I usually think of what the SW characters have used, my favorite video game stances, and movie and anime stances. There is plenty of things out there that can give you inspiration. Before you start taking ideas I would suggest making something simple and getting it in game first. A thread like this can get a lot of people posting what they want to see, and if you can't delive for some reason it upsets people.

For a stance pack you should do that the player can choose what stance goes to what combat style

I am not so sure, but I think the program is called Dragon. If you check the sticky (its in big bold letters at the top of the section) there might be some more information on it.

Really, no. The most recent versions of 3ds Max add a maxsceneroot to all scenes which makes it impossible to use the software to animate. Keshire was likely using an old version of the software that did not add this, such as Max 4 or Max 5 (one of which I think Lightninja uses/used to animate). The new crossover plugins released by Softimage might alleviate this, but this would only allow the very newest versions of 3D Studio Max to be used for animation.

So no. No. No. :)
