Ok, so I have the Covenant Energy Sword moddel for JK3, and I've noticed that when you attack, it doesn't look right. So, I was wondering what would be needed to change the attacking animation to what it looks like in the Halo games.

You need a program like Dragon which can be found in the Master Sticky.

You'd need to create the animation with Dragon, XSI or 3ds Max (though how you do it with Max I'd like to know) merge it with the main _humanoid.gla and then code a new weapon that uses that animation or break one of the stances (e.g. Tavion) and set in the .sab file for the plasma sword to use it. Then you'd need to animate the first person model unless you're using trueview.

It always seems to be when you do it properly. However I might be wrong in my assumptions about how to do it, someone more experienced might know better.
