Hello there! I'm new here. I don't know if this is the right place to do so, but I've been looking for info about tutorials for Stances modification... and I'm a bit (just a bit??) disoriented :uhoh: Can anyone tell me where are those tutorials or what tools do I need to mod stances? Thanks! :D

You could check Jedi Knight 3, Jedi Knight 3 Downloads - FileFront.com . It has lots of tutorials.

There are no stance mod tutorials there.

There's a few such modders hanging about, maybe they can shed some light.

Yes, that's the first place where I've looked out for it, even before I joined FileFront.

Ahhh, I belive I can help. I am an animator after all.

Please be more specific, do you want to get a frame from an in-game animation and make it a stance? Or do you want to make a new one?

Well to make new stances, you must download dragon, then actually make your stance, then compile the .gla with JKA's _humanoid.gla and change the frames in the animation.cfg... If you want, I can build you the stances, since I am temporarely on pause on JAU animating... Just make me understand what you want :P

Thanks for the info, and thanks for offering your help at doing it, but I want to do it exactly as I have in mind, and I just want to do it for me... and I want to try to do it so I can make future stances... if all that you wanted is upload them to jediknight files or use them in other mods, be my guest, I'll give them to you as soon as I have them.

Ahhhh, I don't know about you DrAshgod, but I find for saber animations an version 0.9.1 of Dragon is more usefull as it has huge sticks coming out of his hands where the saber is. I don't know any download links to this version so I'll make my own: Dragon_0.9.1.zip - FileFront.com.

I will also link you to two tutorials:

1.MT Wudan's dragon guide: Dragon :: User's Guide (Good for setting up dragon and making stances)

2.My getting animations in-game tutorial: http://forums.filefront.com/sw-jk3-modding-editing/383156-getting-animations-game-tutorial.html

Good luck! Post if you need any help! ;)
