I am creating yet another starkiller animations mod, but I'm trying to make it so the animations only apply to the Galen models i'm using. Just to let you know if you didn't already, i am doing this by in the folder in models players called galen, i put in a gla file called galen.gla and the animation.cfg, I assume that's how u do it since that's how raven did it. However up at the top of animation.cfg, there is a line saying: // w:/game/base/models/players/_humanoid/animation.cfg 21376 frames;
To get it to work, i need to change that, but i don't know what to change it to :uhoh:. If it helps, the mod is in a folder called Force Unleashed in Gamedata, should it be in base?:confused:
Plz Help, Thx

No, the modifications are in the GameData folder.
I'm pretty sure all that needs to be fixed is the directory at the top, but i've already tried changing the folder and stuff, and it doesn't work. I know this is possible because raven set it up so that rancors and hazard troopers and stuff have different animations and .gla
the way to solve it is fairly simple : get a hex editor the rest should be obvious ;)

yep ashura is right, we are using hex editor for our mod and it will set it so that every main characters in the mod will have their own personalized animations.
you can contact either Katanamaru they are some i know who can probably help.
But a good way would be to download toshis yoda and check it out and compare what is different. This might help you find out how he made his and how you can make yours.

I've done what you're asking. First you need a hex editor. Then open the _humanoid.gla and the animation.cfg with the hex editor. Then change the target path to your new animations. That may not be all that clear, you can pm me if you need more explanations or check page 26 of the JAU thread. That is where N-7 gives directions on how to do it. I would also reccommend that you dl Toshi's yoda for reference.
yep thats the exact way
I've did it for my Starkilelr aniamtions since i want only Galen to use then anims
Sry I just got Prince of Persia and i'v e been playing that, so where can I get a hex editor? can you please give me a few more details. Thanx :)
