Maybe they don't.

Maybe they don't.

Still, no ship is entirely symmetrical. If so, you could hit one area of the ship which contains the fuel, and hit the other side with the fuel.

True enough. Anyways, I think the real reason there aren't more spaceships being made for JA has nothing to do with "no good space maps". It has to do with the simple fact that piloting in JA has never been good. I mean sure, take off and actual flying, sure, not a problem for the most part unless you're trying to fly the Falcon or whatever. But LANDING. Landing these things in JA just doesn't work right, especially not in OJP. Nothing against OJP, but they altered the physics on those ships somehow. They take damage just from sitting there. They can't be landed well. And ships that you could cut the engines and float for a while...they start to drop, even in space. I'll bet that if someone fixed some of the problems with the flying, it would be more enjoyable, people would make more space-based maps, and by thunder, guess what? New ships! :nodding:

Even the flying is vastly sub-par.

You want some Star Wars space action? Freelancer + FreeWorlds 1.66.

I don't know how, and I don't know why, but this is totally Sheep's fault.

I still think Starkiller's ship looks cool.
