well with my time when i get to skip school for a 2-3 weeks cause i jsut moved into a new state im going to learn how to model. but when i do start after i get some modeling programs is it possible to make a skin into a jawa skeleton or w/e its called cause i was thinking of making toad from the mario games as my firstt model. it seems like a pretty easy model to start with and im alrdy skilled in skinning. Just use a regular skeleton, then scale it down when you are finished. You can scale it down by either... a) Making an NPC file that states the size it should be. (Default is 1.0, modify it as you like.) b) Use a scaling mod like JA+. I would recommend a), as it will work with any mod or no mod at all.
Good luck, modelling is much difficult than it looks and it takes a ton of patience to get it right, in my experience any way.
yea lol im aware of that rofl but its worth it.
Good luck learning, Zribbeh! I can't wait to see models by you!
yea.. al i need is to get the program 3ds max i believe..
lol...are u really sure that u want to do that?...like i said before, it costs a pretty penny...just did a price check on it for u :P well...see for yourself

I would highly recommend XSI Mod Tool as a secondary option..its free

0_0 Shouldnt there be a decimal between the 34 and 95? cause that seems like WAY too much.
nope, its a professional software program, so usually if u are in the industry, your employer, or other such person would buy it for u in the first place most likely, or if u take it in college(where u might have to pay for it for yourself, not sure), im pretty sure u get that, and every other program/helper/etc. for anything else to do with 3D modeling with that...My metal shop teacher last you got Autodesk..Inventor i think it was, and it pretty much came with anything u could ever need..so ya...most likely get Gmax or XSI, unless you are really wanting to turn this into a profession
