If someone could be so kind, as to make some realistic SWAT anims, pm me if you need reference pics, and make it for all weapons, and make a normal melee stance, as in hands in fists and in a ready stance with the legs and arms one bent infront of you, and another bent back but to the side, also can get reference pics. It's for my big mod, NYPD:JA, and if you do anims, I give you a fresh batch of cookies credits in readme. Thanks. :smokin: -Ramboh

Good luck with that. Haven't even gotten that many animations for Gunslinger's Academy made.

There's a problem with that idea, though. Every weapon (except lightsabers, of course) and all fisticuffs animations use the relaxed pose for everything below the belt and no motion at all takes place during punching and shooting. You'd need to rewrite the animation code to fix that.

Yah, but I have a solution that kind-of works for that problem, Jose. I write a script with a "Random" element that will choose an animation from a database of animations I chose. Right now, I'm only implementing the ANIM_UPPER, but I'm sure ANIM_BOTH could be implemented. Now, what you have to do then is to have the script 'runscript' every time you fire. Now, I'm sure there is a more efficient way to do this, yet this is the basis of the idea.

Or just recode the animations. Not exactly difficult if you know what you're doing.

But I don't, and Hirman, I've tried using Dragon but the tut didn't help me much. Thanks though.

What I'd do is change the relaxed animation (idle_1 I think) and make it into a base for a "SWAT" like stance for guns. That way the legs would match up with the guns.

I'd do that because I only animate and don't code.
