I realise it may seem like i have an unhealthy obsession for doing things "correctly" by this thread, but i have a question about the methods used for switch panels. The method i currently know is the one given in most tutorials, which is that of using to overlapped func_useables. The reason i have to believe this is not how they were done originally is this: The two images used for the bespin switches have a switch that is off, but the one that is on is just black with the lights. (see examples attached) Which leads me to my final question, how are switch panels actually done? (or how were they done in the making of JA?)

actually i've wondered the same things when u see the doors in sp, they have a red light and it can change to green with a different texture guess u'll have to script it somehow but then again scripting isn't my thing interesting question :p
