Hehe well I'm having MAJOR problems compiling ATM. 1st off, I dled that Photorealistic textures pack (In this thread a few pages back) and followed installation instructions but for some reason GtkRadiant won't load them. I see it in the textures menu, click it, and then just get a message like this:

Loaded 0 shaders and created default shader for 0 orphan textures.

And the textures don't load. Second, the flame .efx won't show up, light goes, but there isn't any actual flame. Third, when compiling I sometimes get this...

WARNING: Node with unbound volume.

...About a thousand times or so. >.>

Hmm. Try following these instructions, and see if you missed something: 1. extract the textures anywhere. 2. copy all of the texture subfolders(photorealistic_wood, photorealistic_ground, ect.. to the game data/base/textures folder. Basically, the idea is to make sure when your in the textures folder, there is only one folder between it and the textures. example texture directory: "game data/base/textures/photorealistic_wood/wood01.jpg" If you do that, it should work. If not, whats your map editor version? Another thing: The textures were designed for Quake 3. Though JKO and JKA use the Q3 engine, JKA(and maybe JKO) only support textures that are a power of 2. What this means is that textures need to be a resolution of: 16x16, 32x32, 64x64, or 16x32, 32x16, 64x128,e ect... Basically they need 1x1 or 1x2 geometry. Some of the photorealistic textures are not that geometry, meaning if you use them, will cause the game will crash. an example of a bad resolution would be:textures/photorealistic_objets/object010.jpg, which has a resolution of 384x512, which I believe, is a multiple of 1.5x2, and is not supported. If you find one like this you have 2 options:delete it or resize it to a power of 2. If you resize it, it may look bad, but you can always resize it using the surface inspector. Sorry for the long reply, I just want to make it as clear as possible. I hope you get the other problems fixed. ;)
