Hello there. :)

I have searched all over the place, and haven't found any mod like this. So, I would like to request a mini-mod of sorts, which allows the player to fully use Tavions Sith sword power - and her others - as a Kata, or Kata stance.

My idea is that, the power - say invincibility - are separate to the original (in files that is) and can have a different color, like blue, adding also a new effect to it: invincibility + health and shield heal.

In any way, all the sword powers, to be able to use them as a Kata. :) This mod I would like on SP. But if MP works well - why not?

I'd like to give this a whirl...but could you give me a little more of a description? Like invinsibility? Do you want the saber to give the player like a 'god mode'? What is a 'lightning shield'? Do you want different colors for her sword effx, like blue? What animtion does she have?

Sorry for these stupid questions, but I need to know what you want before I can make it. :P

As far as I know, can't be done. Force powers and other such effects are coded. We don't have access to the SP code.

Hello there! And really sorry for this very delayed reply. :) I was very very busy. But now I'm free!! ^_^ Thankfully! I hope you're still intressted in making this little mod. :)

But before I get started, I wish to note that when Tavion activates this power, she does two animation moves. 1st she spins around once raising the sword in air and the sword glows briefly with power, 2nd she spins around once more doing the same thing.

Also, the sword of Tavion itself, is glowing with Force Drain lightning. :) (Well you probably know already, but a little reminder is never wrong lol)

What I would like it to do is: 1.) During activation, 1st animation of the move, character's like in "noclip" mode - can't be grabbed by rancors, pushed, pulled, knocked down, and not even lightning and drained. During 2nd animation of the move, all the same but "noclip" is turned off.

2.) During the activation animations, the player gets healed for 400 health points total - regenerate (not instant healing - but regen type as SP Force Heal) 200 hp during first animation of this special move activation, and additional 200 during 2nd animation.

3.) The invincibility lightning color (as well as that of shining orbs/particles that appear on character during invincibility move) depend on the Force Drain color effect on sword/saber. (I think this is changed somewhere in an .efx file? and then that .efx file can be used depedning on what color

4.) The invincibility lasts for 20 seconds.

5.) After invincibility is over, there's a fatigue for 10 seconds, just like after Dark Rage.

6.) Executing this power for 20th time will make it permanent (including effects that come with it), even resist getting eaten by rancors and falling to death.

7.) The only way to be able to activate this power is that the sword/lightsaber already has this "Force Drain" effect on itself.

8.) Sabers that have "Force Drain" effect on them have Undying mode on. Even should the character fall down a hole, they wouldn't get killed.

9.) Sabers with "Force Drain" effect, drain life from struck target, and heal the player. The greater level of Force Drain player has, the more life will be drained with the saber/sword.

10.) Selectable amount of lightnings of "Force Drain" on saber/sword, as well as speed of how the lightning. Minimum speed of it is Tavion's sith sword.

11.) Health/Shield/Force meter can display greater number than just 999. So a character with health/shield/force more than 999 will be able to see fully how much they have. Also a possibility for infinite force power.

12.) Selectable delay between force pull/push - ranging from no delay between how much you can push (as Desann) to whatever player wants it to.

13.) Selectable push/pull/drain/lightning damage scale.

14.) Selectable resistance to force power damage/knockdown scale (if any) from pull/push.

15.) Be able to charge Force Jump to as high as npc jedi's (ala JK: Dark Forces 2 style). Costs a lot of Force Power to do so.

16.) Selectable cost of force power use for each force power. Can also set what all would cost at once. Say... "Force Power cost: ALL to: 5" then all Force Powers would cost only 5 FP to use.

17.) Possible to have permanent Force Sense, but without the sound it emmanates and the purplish aura around the HUD.

18.) Select blade RGB color, chameleon color (as in ForceMod 3) and also on Drain effect on saber. When the drain effect of saber is selected, it also affects the colors of invincibility move effects. Drain effect color, and blade color are chosen separately.

now i didnt read all of it but what i can see from just some of the request you make, is code based and can only be done in mp source codes. im no prof at this but i have been sitting wiht the codes for some years and what you ask for need to be code i don't think scripting can be done this way you like to have it here.

I know in .sab files you can give the sword a SABER_SITH_SWORD type for it's "sabertype" field as opposed to saber_single or saber_staff.

This might have some effect on it.

^Actually, I think that just changes some of the visual effects on the sword. I don't think it does anything else.
