im having trouble applying a texture to my map. Its the rift cobweb texture. When i apply it in game it has thw wom effect (wall of mirror) similar to when you leave a gip in a map. If anyone knows how to apply this texture i would be greatfull
I think that is a shader texture that has transparent parts. To apply such texture to a brush you would have to select the entire brush and cover it in a no draw shader (located in system textures root). Than select one side of the brush to apply the shader texture to and it should appear correctly in game. As a side note, this brush must be inside your map and not part of a wall closing off from the void.
