When I'm flying in deathstar_trenchv2, or any map for that matter I always get this really irritating grey box which blocks my view. Has anyone got this before? does anyone know how to fix this?

That happened to me before.

Try removing mods one-by-one from your base folder, because you either have too many or one of them is overwriting the flares shaders.

The gray-and-white grid is never normal. It means something is missing. ;)

By the way, check the console for errors.

No, he's right, there is a gray and white square for enemy fighters, it shows you where to shoot to get a dead hit.

It's not supposed to be gray and white. ;)

You can see the gray and white square on the left has tiny little red dots pointing to a shape that you can make out as an enemy fighter, it is the square that indicates where to shoot if you want a dead on hit.
