I have a few problems with gtkradiant 1.4. the baddest is that I cant save the map (in radiant). when I saving it shuts down. see the screenshot,but its in swedish. oops...when I was going to take the screenshot, it worked :p. so I can say another problem I have. the water dont work (in game). it is hard! and I cant go on it!

1.4 is ok best to use 1.3 also not all water shaders/textures work

a predator image? nice! do you play avp? and do you now if it is some alien or predator models/skins for jk3/jk2? and the water worked before.

Yes, I play AVP not sure about model's though.....Well not sure why it is not saving in the right place did you set the paths wrong or something?

To make water:

  • make a brush that you want to be your water.
  • texture the brush with caulk_nonsolid.
  • texture the top and bottom with a water shader.
  • If you have multiple brushes being in the same body of water make sure you put nodraw on the sides that touch

Texture the entire brush in a water shader.

Or just make the whole brush a caulk_water and cover the top and bottom with a water shader. I suggest this over caulk_nonsolid because you can never be too sure.
